A Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held on 8th September 2026 at the C.P. Tiwari Auditorium, Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), Indore, to commemorate a landmark achievement in tele-robotic surgery. The ceremony brought together distinguished leaders and members of the medical fraternity to celebrate an achievement that reflects the growing potential of advanced technology in modern surgical care.

I was deeply honoured to receive recognition from the World Book of Records, London, for our recent tele-robotic surgical achievement. This recognition represents more than a personal milestone; it is a testament to the collective efforts, expertise, and dedication of the entire team that worked tirelessly to make this achievement possible. It demonstrated how robotic technology can transcend geographical boundaries and expand access to specialised surgical expertise.

The ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Vinod Bhandari, Founder Chairman, SAIMS; Dr. Manjushree Bhandari, Chancellor, SAIMS; and Dr. Mohit Bhandari, Pro-Chancellor, Sri Aurobindo University. Their presence made the occasion even more meaningful and reflected the shared vision of advancing medical education, technology, innovation, and patient care.

Receiving this recognition has further strengthened my belief in the transformative potential of tele-robotic surgery. By bringing together surgical expertise and cutting-edge robotic technology, we are opening new possibilities for delivering specialised healthcare beyond traditional geographical limitations. Such advancements have the potential to enhance accessibility, precision, and the reach of expert surgical care.

For me, this achievement belongs to the entire team. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my colleagues, mentors, surgical teams, technical experts, and the entire SAIMS and Mohak Bariatrics & Robotics family for their unwavering support and commitment. Every contribution, whether visible or behind the scenes, played an important role in reaching this milestone.

As a special gesture of appreciation, I had the privilege of presenting each member of the team with a framed photograph of SAIMS TIMES. It was my way of acknowledging the people whose dedication, teamwork, and perseverance stood behind this remarkable achievement. This recognition will always remain a shared accomplishment, one that celebrates not just what we achieved, but the team that made it possible.
