Dr. Mahak Bhandari Leads Live Laparoscopic Anatomy Teaching Session at SAIMS in Collaboration with IRCAD India
Dr. Mahak Bhandari, a renowned Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive Surgeon, recently conducted a live laparoscopic anatomy teaching session for MBBS students at Sri Aurobindo Institute of Medical Sciences (SAIMS), in collaboration with IRCAD India. The session was designed to bridge the gap between textbook anatomy and real-time surgical application.
This interactive academic initiative allowed medical students to visualise anatomical structures through live laparoscopic views, offering a practical understanding of how core anatomical knowledge is applied during advanced minimally invasive procedures. By integrating surgical perspectives with foundational learning, the session enhanced students’ clinical clarity and conceptual confidence.
The teaching program focused on developing strong anatomical fundamentals—an essential element in shaping skilled and visionary surgeons of the future. Dr. Bhandari emphasized the importance of early exposure to laparoscopic anatomy to foster curiosity, precision, and a deeper understanding of modern surgical techniques among undergraduate medical students.
Expressing gratitude to SAIMS, IRCAD India, and the enthusiastic participants, Dr. Mahak Bhandari highlighted the value of collaborative medical education platforms that promote innovation and excellence in surgical training. Such initiatives play a vital role in advancing medical education and empowering the next generation of surgeons with practical, future-ready skills.
